Street Parade 2002

The motto for 2002 should have been: RAIN! On the day of the Street Parade, August 10, 2002, a huge low-pressure system brought heavy rain to Europe. In Zurich, the clouds were almost scraping the ground and the temperature was as low as 16° C (60° F). A lot of people still came outside to parade along Lake Zurich but many preferred to stay inside and wait for the night when the indoors parties would begin.
Most of the photos published here were taken in Zurich's main train station which also houses one of the bigger Street Parade parties every year.
