Street Parade 2004

The Berlin Love Parade was canceled this year, but the Zurich Street Parade wasn't. Up to a million people found their way to the shore of Lake Zurich on this perfect summer day. Love mobiles from neighbouring countries and even from Russia joined the parade and conributed to its incredible mix of cultures and styles.
Immersed in the stream of love mobiles and people, ears filled with the din of techno music, communication with those around me was reduced to gestures and smiles. But it was not only the loud music that made me speechless; it was the eyes that took over and the images that flooded my brain. All I could do was go with the flow and take pictures without thinking much or talking to people.
